Amazing mixing! The only issue I have with this is that it's just a touch repetitive for me, especially in the drops. Nice vocal chops btw! xD

Thanks, i hope i do better next time ! :D
It sounds great! All I have to say is that the guitars sound a bit dry, and the whole track is lacking in stereo width. Guitars are really cool for that because you can have two slightly different guitars playing the same thing, and pan them all the way to different sides like in Excision's "Brutal" (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mjKzV9gl490#t=0m26s). But it might be more helpful in this case to just add extra fx and pan them all the way to one side or the other.
Pretty cool!
Thanks! I tried all best to tune true sound of guitars.. Panning guitars is interesting, I will try to do that in the future.
That's one strange looking audio file. xD
Well, there's a few things that I have to say. First of all, good job for getting this song posted to NG! I see that this is your first song, so that's really cool!
However, if you're looking to get good with the wobs, there's a looooong way to go, especially with dubstep. If there's one thing I could do for you, it would be to check out an amazing website called Edmprod (https://www.edmprod.com/). It will teach you how to think like a producer, and that is exactly one bazillion times more important than anything else you'll ever learn about producing. I'm not exaggerating. Go check it out now. Or, if you'd like, I have some specific articles from that website posted up on my account which you could check out by clicking my name I guess. Either way, read Edmprod's stuff. It's waaaay too good to pass up.
Second, resources. If you're looking for good samples, I'd highly recommend three places: 1)This enormous sample pack from Reddit: https://www.reddit.com/r/makinghiphop/comments/4rizue/organized_30gb_of_drum_samples_collected_over/
2) Free samples from Cymatics (they'll want your email if you want the samples): https://cymatics.fm/free-download-vault/
3) Antidote Audio's Free samples (there's a lot, and they're all comparable to Cymatics' samples): https://www.antidoteaudio.com/freebies
So yeah. As cliche as it is, make some noise.
HOLY CRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAP!!!!!!!!
Now THAT'S what I call DROPPIN' DA BASS! If only there were more than 5 stars I could give...
You guys are pros.
As if you needed me to tell you...
Is the vocoded thing saying "Just get off your a***s and dance" with a British accent? Hm...
Other than that, this is pretty awesome! I like the claps alternating regular and fade-in! And the complextro style is always cool.
I don't have any other criticisms really, other than that this is kind of quiet.
Pretty cool.
I am British and I recorded that voice with my own voice and added effects to it. So yh
There's so much resonance at 00:14 and 01:04 that it's clipping!! Nice effect, but only in moderation!
Also, at 01:54, it sounds pretty empty. In contrast with something like Omar Varela's "Last One" (
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wsruT6TtXx8 ), there's a noticeable lack of fullness in this song's dubstep portion. Part of that is due to what kind of main noise Omar used; he used a noise with more fatness, which I strongly suspect made it easier for him to construct the drop. He also didn't choke off that main noise, either, which definitely contributed to the fullness of the drop.
But even doing all that isn't usually enough. Typically, if you listen closely to the drops that the pros make, there's all sorts of stuff in the background - risers, falls, big long tones, chants, chords, arps, even melodies sometimes. It's just pretty quiet, and it's not up front. (A good example of these things would probably be Getter's "Rip 'n' Dip" (Kill The Noise Remix). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Oy7EKuq5yuA )
Observation of the pros is key. Just don't fall into the deathtrap of "they're so much better than me".
Sounds a whole lot like Skrillex if you ask me, and the drops are super awesome! I do have a few thoughts about this that might make it better.
First of all, it's all too quiet. If you haven't already seen it, check out You Suck At Producing's video tutorial on mastering: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FVexl7mbwzQ
Second, even though the drops themselves are awesome, they don't fit in all that well with the vodoced stuff. My suggestion would be to tease the drop noises in the buildups and/or breakdowns, just to graft it all together.
Other than that, yeah. Sounds pretty awesome!
Thx man, I have checked out the video and I can see the point you are making.
To me, it sounds like zomboy, but I can see why it could be a skrillex drop too. Thanks for the help ;D
2:10 kind of comes out of nowhere, but other than that, this is truly amazing. No wonder this thing has so many listens.
You really got your transitions ironed out! Awesome!
Thanks man
