For those who don't know what I'm talking about with "stage 3," here's the article that I'm referencing. Have you read it? Good.
So yeah, I might just skip stage 3. I don't know exactly how or why, but my best guess is that I'm just doing things well enough - I'm paying attention to details, but not getting caught up in perfectionism (like I thought I would); I'm theorizing about how things work, but not so much that it's distracting me from actually making stuff; and I'm making enough stuff to keep improving at a steady pace.
I just thought I'd spill some of my more current thoughts. :)
Also, I'll keep a list of links to awesome resources at the bottom of each of these post things, so that people who see this post might be able to get more out of it than just my thoughs about stuff.
